City Springfield State Minnesota Telecommute No Department Laboratory Medicine & Pathology Job overview Performs analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. Requirements For MT-Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or health related position. Completion of a clinical laboratory internship required. A HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree. Candidates with a Baccalaureate Degree in a science or health related position with completion of a clinical laboratory internship or clinical laboratory experience will be considered in the appropriate field of study (i.e. Microbiology). For MLT- Associate's degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory-training program.
