Scientific Writer / Copy Editor - (Canton, MA)

Write and edit sales and marketing materials, web copy, articles, columns and news stories about wound care, surgery, and sport medicine topics. Ensure all assignments meet quality standards for accuracy, clarity and reader impact, rewriting/reorganizing drafts as needed. Create collaborative relationships with internal clients, external authors, guiding them through the submission/revision/layout process. Generate layout ideas with Art Director. Copyfit and proofread page layouts. Participate in the editorial planning process, suggesting ideas for future coverage. Travel to industry conferences as needed. Job responsibilities Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, English, journalism or a health science field, is required At least 1 to 2 yrs of professional editing background wanted.
