Process Stamping Engineer - (Pontiac, MI)

Process Stamping Engineer MUST be willing to travel extensively to China and other facilities in North America. In-depth understanding of tooling and gages relating to stamping and assembly. Expertise to manage multiple products and tasks as required to meet demanding customer deadlines Applicant should be team oriented with good interpersonal and communication expertise Must be self-motivated and goal oriented Strong understanding of stamping processes (progressive and transfer) as well as general assembly. Issue solving - anticipate and resolve tooling issues that place on-time delivery of early parts, production launch or put production at risk 5+ years of relevant background min at an automotive stamping environment. Journeyman Tool and Die maker credentials OR four year degree in a pertinent field. Background in lieu of requirements will be considered. RESPONSIBIITIES:
