Accounting Assistant - (Haines, AK)

Alaska Mountain Guides is hiring for an Accountant Assistant position starting in the spring of 2019. Expected number of hours - 40-45 hrs/week - five days per week Year round position Hourly Rate: $14-$18/hr DOE Starting spring of 2019 DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: Team member, able to work unaided, multi task, fast learner, handle conflicting deadlines, remain calm, professional and stay focused. Excellent communicator (written and verbal). Bachelor's degree plus one year of applicable background, or combination of education and relevant work background. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED): Intermediate proficiency in business applications, such as Ms office; intermediate Ms excel skills. Demonstrated knowledge of and background with accounting systems and the internet; computer literacy. Understanding of and expertise to apply accounting skills and concepts. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
