Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job assignments and the reasons for the closure. JOB PURPOSE: Provide quality law enforcement services through protection of life and property; preservation of the peace; crime prevention; and enforcement of all laws, ordinances, and university regulations in a fair and impartial manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls in a prompt, professional manner. Types of calls include fire, medical, crime reports, disturbances, requests for transports, crimes in progress, as well as burglar, fire, and panic alarms. Provide emergency 1st aid as needed.
