Purchasing Buyer - (Dayton, OH)
Position description Job responsibilities -- Prepares spare parts PO's with the OEM's. -- Organizes and reorders spare parts in tool crib. -- Communicates and tracks shipments of ordered material from vendors. -- Assures invoices flow through accounting for payment with appropriate levels of approval. -- Verifies, rectifies and matches invoices with vendors with accounting. -- Sets up tracking systems. -- Expertise to negotiate price and delivery of all related MRO parts. -- Organizes, updates, and retains supplier and product details files and purchase order records. -- Performs other duties as assigned. Job qualifications Education Level: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related position preferred Technical Knowledge: Technical written correspondence skills. Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Power Point, Ms word & Ms excel) Background: 2-four years related skills Languages: Proficient in English both written and verbal
