Residential Support Specialist - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bethlehem Haven provides emergency shelter, and permanent housing support for women who are homeless and Medical Respite Care for women and men. The Residential Support Specialist position is primarily responsible for shift oversight for the Medical Respite Program but will cover other programs within Bethlehem Haven as necessary. Residential Support Specialists provide a variety of skilled administrative duties directly related to support of the clients and efficient running of the program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Completes electronic client crossover notes at end of shift and facilitates a verbal crossover with staff relief. * Completes Medical Respite paperwork including crossovers, unusual incident reports, intake forms, letters to clients, progress notes, etc. * Completes rounds on each client every hour or half hour depending on need. * Utilizes on-call support to make appropriate decisions for clients and the facility. * Completes proper safety checks for clients.
