Hospice Volunteer - (Logan, UT)

Rocky Mountain Care is looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to spend 1 to two hours per week visiting patients with a terminal illness.Hospice is care that accepts death as a natural part of life and seeks neither to hasten nor postpone death. Hospice treats the person, not the disease; focuses on the entire family, not just the individual, and emphasizes the quality of life not the Duration. Hospice volunteers assist end-of-life patients and their families with: Friendly visits, Companionship, Respite Care, Hand Holding, Reading, Listening, and other light duties upon request of the patient. We provide training and you will be required to do a experience investigation and a TB test.
