ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Educates patients and family in the purpose, process, and type of test being administered. :Evaluates patient prior to performing tests by reviewing patient medical history; noting past/present illnesses, diagnosis, and medication; checking patients chart to confirm physicians orders and noting current medication, allergies, etc. :Performs ultrasound venous and arterial peripheral vascular imaging studies and records data on videotape.
