Collector - (Wheeling, WV)

Position description 13; The Collector is responsible for collections and follow:up of all overdrawn checking/deposit accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES: : High volume of customer contact via telephone and correspondence in efforts to collect on delinquent accounts : Responsible for performing account maintenance including the closure of debit cards and suspending overdraft limit privileges. : Close out and charge off negative accounts that meet departmental requirements. : Perform other tasks within department as assigned by management 13; Requirements 13; :Prior Collections and/or Banking is preferred. :Strong oral and written correspondence abilities. Expertise to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels. :Excellent multi:tasking and management expertise required. :Demonstrated expertise to work in a high volume environment, with tight turn times and challenging circumstances.
