Civil Designer II - (South Boston, VA)

Civil Designer II Summit Design and Engineering, 1 of the fastest growing companies, is seeking a Civil Designer II for Land Development Department. The successful applicant will have a min of 8 years of experience and the expertise to generate final design grading plans with advanced knowledge of Civil3D features, establish and maintain client relationships, and manage deadlines for on-time submittals. The applicant will be able to work from either our South Boston, Franklin, or Richmond, VA office based upon the location of the applicant. Responsibilities: Manages and maintains Department CAD standards and file system. Analyzes and designs civil engineering land development components under direct supervision of the Project Manager. Provides design calculations, technical reports, permit applications and plan sets for storm drainage, sanitary sewer mains, stormwater control facilities, pressure networks, mass and fine grading, sediment and erosion control, and roadways.
