Security Officer- Per Diem - Week end - 1st shift (6AM -2:30PM) - (Coatesville, PA)

Responsibilities Work to create a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. Assist all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities. Provide a 1st response to emergency situations, and coordinate with outside emergency personnel, like fire and police. Provide a good 1st impression of the Hospital for patients and visitors. Assist patients, with outside emergency personnel, like fire and police. Provide a good 1st impression of the Hospital for patients and visitors. Assist patients, visitors, and employees in navigating through the Hospital campus, including all buildings, parking structures and grounds. Requirements Must be AHA BLS certified within 60 days of employment. Trained in conflict management and workplace violence preferred. Interact regularly with angry, emotionally distraught, and verbally abusive individuals. Interact intermittently with physically abusive individuals.
