\n Position: Construction Services Laboratory Technician (Seasonal)Requisition Number: 2018-2001-04 S&ME, Inc., a geoprofessional and design consulting firm, is seeking a seasonal Laboratory Technician to be based in our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location. Typical assignments and responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):Laboratory testing of construction related materials including (but not limited to) soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt;Daily use of Metafield, and\/or other field and laboratory details management systems, for recording of testing results;Communication of laboratory observations and testing results with Construction Services and Geotechnical Project Management staff;Calibration of field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards.
