Patient Service Technician – Laboratory Services SOCH - SJC (Catholic Health ): Primary role for specimen collection procedures including, but not limited to venipuncture and capillary draws. Assist in the collection of autologous donors. REPORTS TO: Outreach Manager or Support Services Supervisor, URL Manager/Supervisor, General SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (MIN): EDUCAT ION: High-school diploma or GED. Successful completion of Clinical Phlebotomy rotation and/or 6 (6) months background in phlebotomy which includes microcollection and butterfly collection on both geriatric and neonate/pediatric patients preferred. Proof of certification required if background is less than 6 (6) months. BACKGROUND: 6 (6) months background in phlebotomy which includes microcollection and butterfly collection on both geriatric and neonate/pediatric patients.
