Microbiologist MT/MLT Weekends PRN as Needed - (Danville, VA)

Job Summary : Serves patients, physicians and associates through accurate, timely, and courteous completion of laboratory tests and communication of test results to ordering practitioners, in a professional and competent manner. Oversees workload/ Outstanding specimen reports 5. Other duties as assigned 6. Problem Resolution 7. Productivity Education and Background Required: 1. Must have an Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent field. 2. One Year of post training laboratory work is advised, but not required. Mandatory Licensure/Certifications: Must be currently registered or registry eligible with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, or equivalent agency.
