Job summary A POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE position is immediately available in lab group of Dr. Phillip West in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis and Immunology at Texas A and M University Health Science Center. The successful candidate will lead a collaborative research effort to delineate new roles for mitochondria in innate immunity. Projects will involve investigation of mitochondria as signaling organelles in the immune system and will explore innate immune and inflammatory responses in animal models of mitochondrial disease/dysfunction.
