Job summary JOB DESCRIPTION: Looking for a Director of Engineering who will report to the Vice President of Engineering. This person will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, design professionals and technical support staff in working with Land Development and Municipal clients and projects throughout the Hudson Valley. POSITION DUTIES: :Business development and marketing :Preparing proposals :Client management :Project management :Recruiting, mentoring, and management of staff :Assignment of work and quality control of work products :Business planning :Meeting financial and business development goals JOB REQUIREMENTS: :15+ years of civil/municipal engineering background in a multi:disciplinary consulting firm, with demonstrated career progression :5yrs in a staff management role. :Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related degree (MS or ME is preferred but not required) :NYS Professional Engineer license. :Public presentation skills are essential.
