Position details An industrial manufacturer/refractory located in Towanda, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. Job qualifications: :Performs analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems, and components. Assist manufacturing personnel in process/equipment issue solving. :Ensures compliance with government (Environmental and Safety and organization engineering standards. Works on a combination of engineering specialties covering more than 1 discipline. :With considerable latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, performs moderately difficult and responsible work. :Organizes work, follows prescribed methods and guidelines, and recognizes conditions and results that may affect the findings. :Assist manufacturing personnel in process/equipment issue solving. :Drive productivity initiatives through 6 Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools. :Maintain an effective cost reduction program via process/product modification and development.
