Job Description CNC Lathe/Mill Operator Job description: This is a full:time day shift position that consists of monitoring and operating CNC lathe and milling machines to produce parts for the automotive industry. The hours will be 7am:6pm, M:Th, with occasional over time Essential Duties: Load parts and run lathe and mill, CNC toolpath programs provided by engineering. Make work:holding fixture/setup changes. Follow production processes to maintain quality and efficiency. Complete required part inspection/quality control process. Keep accurate and detailed production records. Required Knowledge/Abilities: Strong communication expertise, both verbal and written. Expertise to work with minimal supervision. Expertise to read and understand instructions in the English language Basic mathematical skills Expertise to understand and follow safety policies and procedures Expertise to operate a forklift Expertise to learn to operate overhead crane and other parts handling equipment Expertise to work with power
