Position description Well established manufacturer seeking an experienced, energetic, self:starting, highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic. This position installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and will be responsible for preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and/or fabricate machinery in a timely, efficient, safe and accurate manner while keeping impact on production as minimal as possible. Plan repair procedures in advance of beginning a job. Fabricate parts, perform skilled fitting and aligning as required using precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements. Expedite repairs for unscheduled maintenance jobs in most efficient and timely procedure. Maintain vehicles and support equipment for all departments. Work from drawings, specifications, and job layouts provided by Supervisor or Plant Engineer. Find and order parts when needed.
