Summary 13; The Certified Anesthesia Tech provides technical and support services to anesthesiologists and registered nurses in the preparation, care, maintenance, and availability of anesthesia supplies and equipment. Assists with invasive line preparation, placement, and monitoring. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. 13; Education/Background/Licensure 13; Education/Formal Training Work Background Credential/Licensure REQUIRED: High-school degree or equivalent Min of 4 yrs background in a healthcare related position, preferably in an OR setting. N/A PREFERRED: Completion of a formal job:related vocational or technical training program of not less than 1yr (such as Anesthesia Technology, Surgical Technology, EMT, LPN, etc.) Min of 2 years background as a Anesthesia Techician.
