Shipping and Inventory Specialist - (Montgomery, AL)

Job details Job Scope This position reports to the Plant Materials Manager and is responsible for providing inventory and traceability accuracy, production reporting activities, and receiving, handling, and shipping activities for plant operations. This position will also support stock management of plant MRO and PPE items. The successful applicant will possess a current knowledge of Excel and manufacturing principles and be able to analyze the data to improve operations. Principal Requirements : General : High-school graduate/GED is mandatory. 1+ years of related experiences in Manufacturing or Inventory Management are required. Further background or education in inventory control, material planning, material handling and shipping would be advantageous, as well as an understanding of computer utilization. : Computer literacy with knowledge of ERP programs, strong Excel and math skills, and the construction and utilization of bills of material with material traceability. :
