Research Assistant : College of Medicine Ulrich:Lai Lab - (Cincinnati, OH)

The Ulrich:Lai Laboratory within the College of Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant for the following: Duties will consist of, but are not limited to, designing, performing, and analyzing studies that investigate food intake, nutrient metabolism, obesity and responses to psychological stress. Min Requirements: Bachelors degree in a profession/field or equivalent level of knowledge.Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a related position, plus several years of research background. Preferred Qualificiatons: : Background with some of the following laboratory procedures/techniques: immunohistochemistry, microscopy, qRT:PCR, ELISAs, radioimmunoassays, cell and organ culture, small animal handling, and small animal surgeries. : Demonstrate attention to detail, strong management skills, great communication expertise, and supervisory expertise. : Computer literate with working understanding of software applications (microsoft word processing, spreadsheet, and graphing).
