Residue Analytical Chemist - (St Louis, MO)

Randstad in partnership with a leading biotechnology company located in St. Louis, MO is now hiring for a Chemist with experience in wet chemistry sample preparation and analytical method development. If you are the selected applicant for this role, you will work with our client who is shaping the world of agriculture with breakthrough innovation for the benefit of farmers, consumers and our planet. This role will focus on processing samples from various matrices (air samplers, soil, water, and plant) for analysis, identify metabolites, and developing analytical methods. A technical experience in laboratory sample preparation and mass spectral analysis of small molecules is required. Responsibilities: Prepare samples from various matrices (e.g., air samplers [PUF], water, soil, and plant) for analysis via LC- or GC-MS/MS Support the development of analytical methods for trace analysis in various matrices Support the identification of metabolites from various matrices using LC-MS
