Senior Contract Administrator - (South Bend, IN)

Job details 1) GENERAL SUMMARY The Senior Contract Administrator is the principal staff member responsible for all post award major individual material contract purchases from the U.S. Government. This position administers the ILP contract (i.e., inputs quotes, troubleshoots, and researches pricing issues); the review and acceptance of contracts; and supervises/monitors the entering of orders into the SAP R/3 System; assist with questions related to solicitations for quotations and proposals prior to award. Coordinates with AMG departments to ensure all pertinent orders are delivered on time. Provides management reports documenting orders and delivery activity that are used in forecasting and tracking AFTC Annual Operating Plan performance. Provides reports to Major Buying Commands and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) regarding contracts and orders, as required. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of FAR/DFAR/DPAS regulations.
