Job Description Software Certification Engineer (DO:178 or Similar) Software Certification Engineer Job details Responsible for the qualification of software and complex hardware for aviation products through the use of RTCA DO:178C and DO:254 processes. Technologies include modern microcontrollers and FPGAs, as well as typical off:the:shelf components assembled to custom PCBs of varying complexity. Any life cycle process associated with safety critical systems. Product areas include cockpit displays and instruments, local and remote sensing, data conversion and storage, lithium battery management, AIR CONDITIONED/DC and DC/DC power conversion up to 2000W, cabin power supplies, and various other components needed in aircraft systems.
