Position description Survey Technician/Drafter: The position will be an exciting opportunity for the right self motivated applicant. Duties: Under the guidance of a Licensed Texas Land Surveyor and Project Manager : The Survey Technician/Drafter shall help with the preparation of boundary, topographic, ALTA, Record of Surveys, mapping, legal descriptions and plats. :The Survey Technician/Drafter shall help with the creation of Stakeouts and calculations. :The Survey Technician shall download and process incoming field data for incorporation into survey related projects. :Assist the Project Manager in preparation of project budget and schedules. :Interface with the Project Manager and field surveyors to maximize daily and project efficiency. :Understands field processes and identifies potential data collection errors. :The Survey Technician shall assist the Professional Land Surveyor and Project Manager in completing assigned tasks as well as QA/QC procedures.
