Plant Operator - (Lima, OH)

Ashland always solving Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator to join our Ashland Performance Materials business at our Lima, OH location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Manufacturing function. This position will report to the Team Leader. Description The responsibilities of the position include: • Safe and Environmentally Responsible Operation of process equipment to manufacture chemical products. • Utilization of a Distributed Control System to monitor and adjust the process. • Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot process and equipment issues. • Perform light maintenance and prepare equipment to enable others to safely perform maintenance. • Safe product loading of tank wagons and rail cars. • Great communication, both oral and written, with teammates and others to describe unit conditions and observed situations.
