Project Engineer - (Aiken, SC)

Job overview Summary/Objective The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the Project Manager on:site during the construction of a large:scale reinforced concrete construction project. The Project Engineer must utilize strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a broad spectrum of tasks required in all phases of the construction process. Main responsibilities: :Assist in coordination and review of subcontracts and purchase orders in a timely manner :Review vendor, subcontractor and self:performance pricing and be able to make effective recommendations to a Project Manager :Review and evaluate site conditions to properly recommend equipment usage regarding cranes, pumps, loaders etc. :Provide field support to the project management team, and assist with management and maintenance of the construction material laydown yard :Provide support to Project Management in their absence :Promote Safety and Quality Control Programs :Coordinate and monitor quality control testing and results
