Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic (Mech I) - Hardin, MT - (Hardin, MT)

The Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for all repairs and services associated with the heavy mobile mining equipment. Compliance with all Company, State and Federal rules and regulations. Candidates for this position must have prior background and/or knowledge of tasks associated with repairs and servicing of dozers, haulers, blades, scrapers, loaders, drills, pumps, compressors, pickups, trucks and other light vehicles and maintenance of diesel equipment. Candidate must demonstrate a strong awareness and understanding of work-related safety practices. Must be physically capable to work on heights above 50 ft, to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds. or more, to work in confined areas, and to work in awkward positions requiring prolonged bending or kneeling. Candidates must have the skills required to perform the above duties on a rotating shift. Two Year diesel technology degree preferred or 5 yrs of equivalent background.
