ASSEMBLER Our client is a growing Manufacturer, and they are seeking a qualified Assembler who will work on custom R&D projects and who can perform more complicated assembly of small parts working under a microscope. This is a 1st shift position. Compensation is $17-19 / hour depending on background. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Working under minimal supervision · Assembles small parts following repetitive assembly techniques, · Cross train to work on any steps of the process · Meet quality standards for process being used · Determines when standards have not been met and parts must be scrapped. · Sets up tools or fixtures required for specific procedures. · Responsively clean parts, equipment and tools; keep work station clean, stocked, and organized. REQUIREMENTS: · Current understanding of assembly procedures and techniques · Expertise to read engineering prints. · Demonstrated manual dexterity.
