The SN II provides care to patients via the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and other health care teammates. Minimum qualifications: Min 3 (3) years of recent RN Acute background or equivalent Two (2) or more years in a behavioral health setting, telephone triage support preferred Graduate from an accredited nursing school Associate Degree in Nursing BSN preferred BLS Current CA RN License Psychiatric & chemical dependency knowledge & expertise to work w/ dual diagnosis patients Able to triage & evaluate various aspects of the psychiatric population
