Validation Engineer - (Auburn Hills, MI)

Job Introduction The validation engineer is responsible for the creation of validation test and timing plans in order to meet the program team objectives for the validation of automotive components. These components consist of different technologies including analog, digital, optic, color, EMC applications for cameras and power products. This broad range of product mix requires broad based computer skills. Test plan quoting, purchase orders, pre-test meetings with outside test lab personnel, and test facilitation are key components of this position. In addition, the validation engineer may be responsible for the buildup and implementation of test stands and associated hardware and software required for the validation. The validation engineer is also responsible for creating test procedures, work instructions, and forms related to project specific and general validation group usage. Additional duties are performed as needed to ensure completion of projects and contribute to the success of the organization.
