Position summary We are seeking a Marine Painter to join our team This contract lasts up to 2yrs and will pay per diem if you live outside the state of Virginia. The job is located in Newport News, VA. Background: The Marine Painter must have 3 (3) or more years of background as a marine brush and roll painter applying epoxy and non:epoxy coatings. Background is also required in accomplishing cleaning to SSPC:SP:3 and SSPC:SP:11 standards using power tools. Qualifications: 1. Expertise coatings while maintaining desired MIL thickness 2. Background working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half:face and full:face respiratory equipment. 3.
