Painter(Seasonal) : The Abbey Resort - (Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, WI)

Job summary Summary: The Painter/Carpenter will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance pertaining to ceiling, wall, and floor finishes. Position details: REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, and WORK BACKGROUND * High-school diploma or equivalent. - Expertise to refinish woodwork requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Resolves guests problems and handles all guest requests. Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs. Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner. Responsible for correct use of office equipment. Painting and re:painting. Woodwork touchup. Hanging wallpaper. Installing tiles and grouting. Identifying and matching paint and stain colors. Assisting Carpenter in construction and repair of carpentry items.
