Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO):FSD - (Arlington, VA)

BOS Security is looking for a Female LTSO Potential Permanent Full:time Position (32 to 40:hours) The Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO) will have overall responsibility for all passengers and checked baggage screening locations. S/He will report directly to the Training Specialist, Deputy and/or Program Manager on security and personnel related issues. The LTSO will ensure all assigned personnel will provide the traveling public with the highest levels of security, customer service, and professionalism. S/He will uphold the TSA Mission while exemplifying BOS s core values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform security screening of persons, including tasks such as: pat:down searches, monitoring walk:through metal detector screening equipment and AIT screening. Perform security screening of property, including the operation of x:ray machines to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers; and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
