Floating Quality Control Technician - (Naknek, AK)

Leader Creek Fisheries, the premier quality processor of Sockeye Salmon in Alaska's Bristol Bay, is currently hiring for Seasonal Floating Quality Control Technicians for our 2019 Sockeye Salmon Season. The ideal candidate for this position would be highly motivated with a sense of adventure to live aboard Salmon tenders and perform quality control for the 2019 Salmon Season. The Bristol Bay salmon fishery is the largest sustainable sockeye salmon fishery in the world. The Floating Quality Control Technician performs an integral function during the fishing season, ensuring only the highest quality salmon are sent to the processor. As a Floating Quality Control (QC) Technician, your job will be to check the quality of every fish delivery from the fleet to the tender. You will be checking if the fish has been bled, the core temperature of the fish, take a visual inspection and ensure it has been harvested with a commitment to quality.
