NICU Nurse Residency- July - (Newark, DE)

Christiana Care is inviting Graduate Nurses and new RN's to apply for our NICU Nurse Residency Program starting July 2019. The NICU Nurse Residency Program is a challenging 26-week program that integrates educational components with preceptor-led clinical experiences on our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This program has been devised by the nurses in the NICU to allow for a smooth transition from GN to the RN role for those applicants who qualify. Upon successful program completion,participants will be hired as a staff nurse within the NICU unit at Christiana Care Health System. Program participants will be required to pass State Boards and be licensed as a RN in the State of Delaware prior to the start of the program. Participants must also agree to sign a commitment agreement to work at the Christiana Care Health System for 3744 hours in the NICU area upon program completion. Individuals unable to fill this commitment will be charged $10,000. Qualifications:
