Instruction Librarian - (Radford, VA)

The librarian will design, develop, and teach student-centered, course-integrated info literacy sessions, as well as participate in assessment efforts for the continuous improvement of the library's instruction program and its contributions to student success. This position reports to the Head of Reference and will also have reference and collection development responsibilities, including some evenings and weekend hours. Min Requirements A Master's degree in library science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program. ?Demonstrated interest in details literacy theory and practice. Good communication abilities. Strong commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion Preferred Requirements Background with library instruction, such as orientations, curriculum-integrated workshops, and faculty workshops.
