Hospital Services Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) - Training Available - (Carmel, IN)

DaVita is seeking several Registered Nurses to serve our patients, administering dialysis, at Indianapolis Community Hospital East. RNs in this role work independently alongside the hospital staff to assess, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for the critically ill patients. Registered Nurses must be available to work four days a week, scheduled for 10hr shifts, with flexibility to work over-time as needed with little or no notice. Dialysis background is not required, and there are opportunities to train in other modalities. What to Expect * 1:1 Patient Care. Deliver acute hemodialysis to in-patients with chronic kidney disease, as well as patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and transplant. Average Patient to Nurse Ratio is 2:1 or 1:1. * Patient education. Whether this is the 1st or a blip in their chronic treatment, our RNs are experts in educating our patients and families.
