Lomar Distributing (a Hy-Vee subsidiary) 2500 Dixon Des Moines, IA 50316 Position title: Warehouse Generalist, part time Department: Warehouse General Function Responsible for the selection and stacking of merchandise on pallets to be shipped to retail locations. Prepares orders including accurately selecting order items via a voice automated selection system and palletizes them for shipment. 15-28 hours/week; flexible shifts and hours with weekend availability required. Reporting Relations Accountable and Reports to (Position title): Assistant Warehouse Supervisors; Warehouse Supervisors; Director of Warehousing; Safety and Compliance Supervisor Positions that Report to you (Position title): None Main responsibilities Provides customer service by accurately and timely selecting orders via a voice automated selection system and safely palletize merchandise for shipment to assigned stores. Applies pallet ID and accurately stages selected order to be loaded on assigned trailer for delivery.
