Financial Analyst II - (Birmingham, AL)

Job details -- Financial Analyst II: Job qualifications and responsibilities: * Partner with assigned lines of business to provide timely and accurate details based on changing business needs and performance * Assist with monthly accounting close, including preparation of various types of analyses to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy * Prepare and process journal entries, including verification of supporting documentation provided by others, as required by procedure * Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as well as statistical accounts on both a daily and monthly basis * Generate standard and ad hoc analytical reports for consumption by various lines of business and external parties * Participate in special projects designed to enhance efficiency or improve analysis and reporting * Interact with internal and external auditors during various audits Min Qualifications: * Four Year college diploma in Accounting or Finance
