Electrical Engineer - (Midland, MI)

The Dow Chemical Company has an opening for an Electrical Engineer located in Midland, MI. The scope of this role is to provide electrical engineering and design support for projects at Dow's Midland, MI facility including EPC coordination, project layout and design, construction oversight for electrical scope, and start-up assistance. Critical skills: Electrical engineering and design knowledge. General awareness of proper electrical installation. Participate in the layout of the plant electrical equipment taking into account process considerations, constructability, operability & maintainability of the facilities. Provide Initial design and drawing requirements. Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements. Coordinate and analyze vendor supplied drawings and incorporate the required info into project drawings. Direct designers/drafters in bid package creation. Excellent teamwork and communication expertise. Excellent personal management skills.
