Director, chain merchandising - national - (Tustin, CA)

Overview The Director, Chain Merchandising will direct, initiate and oversee all aspects of chain sales professionals and field execution through chain sales/merchandising and management staff to achieve company and supplier objectives. Position also manages and works with over 50 top suppliers. Responsibilities Directing - Director, Chain Merchandising are expected to skillfully direct assigned managers and sales teams as necessary to ensure the achievement of company and supplier sales objectives by: Leading a team of sales professionals including sales representatives and members of the sales management. Providing clear and concise leadership and direction to all direct reports. Correcting specific manager's performance deficiencies through individual counseling, training and/or motivating actions. Conducting meetings as needed to effectively communicate objectives, programs, strategies, policies and procedures to assigned management team.
