Senior Manager, Category Development - (Duquesne, PA)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strategic Planning Develops strategy and storytelling for customer proposals based on trend analysis. Partners with Sales, Marketing& Product Development teams to drive strategy across brands. Acts as the category expert in co-creating strategic business plans. Oversees the planning and executing of strategic plans for each customer. Provides objective insights and recommendations to enhance category performance through integrating fact based analytics into ATC’s& the retailer’s strategy. Leads category analysts in identifying opportunity gaps in pricing, promotion, shelf space, page placement, content, and assortment mix both internally for ATC and externally for our retail partners. Develops best practice reporting for the Category, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Teams. Directs the use of consumer and a market data across all data sources. Assists marketing in consumer research activities such as developing consumer surveys and attending focus groups.
