Engineering Manager (Military Veterans Wanted!) - (Lansing, MI)

The Engineering Manager is the technical leader for the manufacturing site and has direct influence into the manufacturing processes and technologies throughout project life cycles. In additional, this role oversees the maintenance department and is responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the facility. Major Responsibilities and Activities: Plan, execute, and adhere to annual budget targets. Provide coordination and leadership for engineering and maintenance projects within the operation. Create and lead an engineering and maintenance culture that measures performance by working to metrics that agree with and support production metrics, focusing on maximizing equipment up-time and availability and minimizing costs. Provide leadership and coordination for engineering changes in an assembly operation that averages 1-2 changes per day.
