Shift Supervisor - (Follansbee, WV)

Position assignments --- Supervise union production personnel --- Employee development with emphasis on safety, health, environmental, and production issues --- Formulate and/or follow detailed production schedules for a continuous operation process --- Provide leadership for production personnel to meet short and long-term production goals --- Participate in the Follansbee Plant Safety Observations and Contacts Program --- There will be eight - 10 hourly employees reporting to this position Requirements High-school certificate or GED; Bachelor's degree from an Accredited College or University preferred five years in a manufacturing setting, background in a union environment; five years supervisory background in a Tar/Chemical Plant setting preferred Background supervising union employees Strong leadership skills, integrity and focus on customer service Demonstration of safety, health and environmental awareness Good planning, analytical and communications skills Koppers Inc.
