Media Planner/Buyer Requisition Number: MEDIA01616 Location: The Media Planner/Buyer in this role will be responsible for all the day-to-day coordination, planning, execution, and management of national and local broadcast, print, and outdoor advertising media plans for American Public Education Inc. (APEI) and its affiliates or clients. Responsibilities include conducting research, development and planning of all media recommendations and being able to execute and monitor media buys in a timely and accurate manner. Critical functions: Develops effective media buying strategies through sophisticated research and planning to drive tactical media recommendations. Compares and negotiates price and placement with numerous media outlets. Optimizes and evaluates campaign media mix and budgets based on results and analytics. Formulates and presents competitive details and research recommendations. Handles all media schedules and contracts with outside media vendors.
