AstenJohnson is looking to add a Machine Operator at our Williston, VT facility. The shift for this position is Wed, Thurs, Fri 7pm-7am and every other Sat 7pm-7am. General Scope of Responsibilities: Operate a production line to produce high-quality monofilament fibers. Work as part of a shift to safely maintain max production while maintaining high-quality standards. Position qualifications: Operate and set up production line to extrude monofilament fiber Start up a production line in accordance with work order Set up sheets and documented procedures Set and adjust various temperatures and speed control Operate scrap station Put line on spools and make change overs Ensure filament is winding on spools correctly
