Sql Dba - (Harrisburg, PA)

e&e is looking for a SQL DBA for our client in Harrisburg, PA.Some critical responsibilities: The DBA is responsible for data base performance of all systems covered by the client support contract and routinely performs performance reviews using SQL traces, Extended events, review of SQL Server and application logs. The DBA also liaisons with development, programming and DBA teams to assist in new development interface to applications covered under the Client Support Contract. The DBA also interfaces with Infrastructure, Network, SAN and VM Teams regarding performance monitoring and any concerns that may arise. MS SQL Server Reporting Services is used to provide reports in the CLIENT set of applications. Custom reports are created as the business identifies additional qualifications. Reports are available from within the applications or through custom front ends to provide a better user interface background.
